Travel Rates We believe TIBA has the most fair travel rates of any agency in our class... TIBA Charges the following rates for travel: Airfare (including related security, fuel or other mandatory surcharges) - Actual Cost + $20 Flat fee per round trip. Mileage on a TIBA owned vehicle @ current IRS rate. Rental vehicle - Actual Cost + $10 flat fee per vehicle Fuel (rental vehicle) - Actual Cost Per Diem - $35 per person, per day for Firearms Instructors + $9 per hour travel charge (per instructor) for each hour of travel OVER THREE in a given day. (CLASSES OF FIVE OR MORE STUDENTS REQUIRE A SECOND INSTRUCTOR FOR SAFETY REASONS - Contact us for discount rates) Hotel - Actual Cost Other transport (taxi, etc) - Actual cost, including gratuities That's it. Simple, easy & cost effective. We only require what is needed to get the job done, nothing more. Furthermore if you book and pay for the flights, vehicles, etc. yourself then we do NOT charge the $20 & $10 fees. You took the time to do it and pay for it, so you keep the cash.
